A rectangular end grain cutting board designed for daily meal preparation.
Preparing heavy cuts of meat or large volumes of vegetables requires a stable and robust surface. This rectangular end grain cutting board features a 2.8 cm (1.1 inch) thickness and a weight of 1000 g (35 oz), offering a solid base that stays in place during use. The butchers block cutting board design utilizes an end grain construction, creating a natural checkered pattern that also functions as a flippable serving board. Hand-polished, burr-free edges provide a smooth finish for handling and transporting food to the table.
Why is this end grain cutting board so popular?
- End grain construction: The vertical alignment accommodates heavy slicing and mincing.
- Flippable design: Both sides function as a cutting surface or a serving board.
- 2.8 cm thickness: A thick build that provides stability on kitchen counters.
- Water-resistant surface: Allows for quick and straightforward cleanup after food preparation.
- Hand-polished edges: Burr-free borders offer a smooth grip when moving the board.
